WOW! Maybe I should reserve a space for my MotorHome... looks like we'll be spending a substantial amount of time "celebrating" at the Range....

Is the mayor going to show his arrogance and show up at any of these? I want to start a pool; I say yes. I think he will show up and challenge people to say something. Hope he does show his fat face. I have some "nice" things to say to the A-Hole!!!!

I would not take that bet "Retiring Soon"; he IS that arrogant! If I were to guess, you can bet he will show at Chief Meyers party. He thinks his presence there would be acceptable. The professional faces will prevail and he will take that as approval for his presence. While I personally find it offensive for him to appear at a "Celebration" for anyone retiring from the department; it is also offensive to create a disturbance or incident that takes away from the honor of the person who is being recognized. If he makes an appearance I would personally ignore him and not let it detract from the real reason we all join together.

If Chief Meyers holds any real regard for the men and women on the PD, the ones who have served with her and supported her, she'd sent an appropriate message to the Mayor.

IMHO considering the current situation his appearance at any of these retirement celebrations is just another indicator of the contempt he holds. If he does show, people should merely turn their backs to him.
